Day 1,Arrival

This is the day you are landing in to Uganda(Entebbe airport) and you are warmly welcomed by one of our guides or drivers at the air port. You will be driven to Boma guest house where you will rest enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Victoria and it's cool breeze.

Day 2 ,Travel to Kasese (Rwenzori Mountain National park)

Enjoy your breakfast in the morning, then drive off to kasese enjoying the scenery of various places like Tea plantations, people going on with their everyday work, and others for about 7 to 8 hours stopping at Fort portal for lunch then continue to Kasese at Marghreita hotel rest while over looking the Rwenzori Mountain.

Day 3,Hike begins

Start this day early with breakfast, then proceed to Trekkers in Kilembe for a briefing with the mountain guides and porters who will help you in carrying your bags while hiking. Set off having a beautiful view of the Nyamwamba river, and first stop at the Rangers spot(1727meters) to pay for the Uganda Wildlife Authority fees then proceed with the hike. This is the rainforest zone where you might get a chance to spot some blue monkeys, white and black columbus monkeys, some birds like the Rwenzori toraco and many others and the different special plant species. Stop for lunch at the height of 2240m after resting, then continue to Kalalama camp(3134m).

Day 4,The adventure continues

On this day, start with an early morning breakfast, then continue hiking for more adventures like on the way, you might see the animals like the mountain dik dik and beauitful plants like the giant lobelias and others. You will see the Abuhasa twin peaks while almost at the camp site(3380m).

Day 5,The fun continues

Start with breakfast in the morning, then continue with the hike to camp 3 (4065m) through the Nyamwamba valley past many giant lobelias which sits at the confluence of the Nyamwamba Namusangi valleys with incredible views of the glacier lakes then rest at the camp.

Day 6,Breath Taking Glacier views

This trekking day, you will enjoy your breakfast in the morning, then climb towards camp 4 (4006m) viewing the wonderful fantastic glacier peaks of Mt. Baker, you will rest and wait for the following hard hike towards the last camp 5 at the height of 4335meters.

Day 7,The Magnificient scenery

Have an early morning breakfast, then this is a short climb to camp5 but somehow challenging particularly in the wet seasons of September-October and April-May creating a feeling of euphoria and intense excitement as the scenery is absolutely stunning as one continues up.

Day 8,The Real Beauty of Nature

When at camp5, you will be prepared and equipped well with all that is needed for the peak climbing. You will start the climb very early in the wee hours of the morning to the peak then the exhilaration of reaching the top across the spectra of the Rwenzori Mountain. Spend some time at the peak then start with the descending from the mountain.

Day 9,The Amazing Descending Experience

At camp 5, have breakfast at the camp then proceed. Start your descending slowly from the peak to camp 3 enjoying more glacier scenery while resting at camp 3 reminiscing about how the peak climbing was. Here you will enjoy some breath taking scenery of the different peaks especially during the dry seasons or you may experience a heavy snow fall.

Day 10,Fantastic views

Start with breakfast in the morning, then continue to Mutinda Rock Shelter camp 6. On your way, you will pass through the path weaving through huge moss covered rocks and along the base of magnificent cliff faces to a superb valley which leads up to the main peaks.

Day 11,The Sheer magnificence

Descend from Mutinda camp 6(3688m), to Samalira camp 1(3171m) in the morning stopping at Kyalavula along a narrow moss covered ridge where you will be able to view lake Albert and Lake George and Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will walk through layers of green moss and giant heathers to the camp and spend the night.

Day 12,The Stunning wonderous adventure

Start the journey down hill with strength through the incredibly beautiful forest of giant heathers, bamboo forest, heavy rainfall forest. On this day, you will only be descending down up to the Rangers spot to the base camp of Trekkers. Spend some time at Trekkers with the guides, then drive to Margherita Hotel and spend the night.

Start the journey early from Kasese to Entebbe Airport.
